Time to look for a job.... AGAIN

So, I have about 4 months to go before I am to return back to the US, and this time I'm going to be prepared. I'm starting my job search now, and with the economy turning around in the US as well as my great experiences at Lufthansa, I feel confident in finding a job that suits my needs before my arrival back in the US.

In an effort to start applying, I spent most of today working on my resumes, one in German and one in English (creative). I have a third resume, but I didn't get to it yet, but it should be very simple to update as it is not like the one I'm about to post. Since I plan on searching for work in the airline industry, I chose travel as my theme for my resume. Normally, resume's don't have themes, but I'm going about this a little differently.

I'm going to be applying with a lot of other people, and despite my great skills and experiences, I want to stand out immediately from all the other applicants. In order to do this, one would naturally have to do something very creative or standout in some positive way. Since recruiters read resumes all day long, something different might spark their attention, that would give one's resume a second glance. This second glance often lands your resume in the contact pile.

When I apply, I plan to send both my creative resume and a standard printable copy. Some companies don't allow you to attach two, so in those cases I just plan to use the traditional version. Anyways, I've posted a picture of my resume that I was working on today, and if you happen to know some people working in HR or have a friends who deal with this, it would be nice to get your/their opinion on whether my resume is effective.

If you're unable to find a job in Europe, you should look into seeing if you can land a job with Expedia. Their headquarters is right across the lake from Seattle!
